I think he/she means that he is using their phone to connect to the net on a pc.
I think it could be the internet port that rapid share uses is not supported by your network. I dont know how to get around that.

May be its like, his provider might have a public ip,in that case u might have to use proxy.

guys i think u dont understand my prob.let me explain in brif.
actually i am using airtel gprs for internet access and it works fine but whenever i try to download anything from file sharing sites like rapidshare it gives me this error

Your IP-address 203.145.159.44 is already downloading a file. You have to wait until it is finished.
Premium-accounts can download many files at the same time. Get your own Premium-Account now. Instant download-access!
If you are not downloading anything, you are using a proxy-server or a shared IP-address. A Premium-account solves this problem as well

actually i am not downloading any thing.i rade on this site that many gprs users can download from rapidshare without any prob so i want to know that is there any trik or somethin so i can download from thease site?
thankx for ur replies

Simple, airtel use a proxy so when you request a file, rapidshare has the proxy IP which every airtel consumer use also. Basicly your chances are small that you will be able to download something unless there is a way to not use airtel proxy server. By not connecting through the proxy, rapidshare will detect the phone IP and not the proxy server.

Hope it helps you out, if you don't really understand what a proxy is, do some google search

What *Jim* sez is true.. Airtel is know to channel multiple accounts over same IP.. Basically Rapidshare wont allow, for sake of bandwidth contraints, free users to d/load multiple files simultaneously or say 2files within an hour if its big 7/8MB. Am on wap now but certain proxies (even using using Google) I knew were effective manupalte .. I think you'd find www.rapidfox.com interesting too.. All the Best

that's not true. I myself have downloaded files from rapidshare directly to my 6670(opera 8.51),although rarely, as most of the time the above message pops up.

So what U saying Niru is that Opera 8.51 has the option 2 enable java scripts (the one required by Mega Rapid etc)...WOW...I ve Opera 8.50 on my 6681 & it doesn't but if 8.51 does than all ve need 2 do is 2 change proxy...do U think that can be done on the Opera 8.51 or maybe in the web setting...let me give it a shot...thanks 4 the info...now all I need.............
Oh ya nishant...guess what...even my ip is 203.145.159.44 but U can still download 4 rapidshare by installing applications like Hide ip, proxy switcher (Standred is a Freeware) etc...do a search when U ve rested cause even after U install those apps, U ve 2 switch a lot of ips/change proxys 2 get 2 download 4 rapidshare...if U don't find those apps send me a pm with Ur email address & not Gmail...its a pain sending .exe files over gmail. I am having problems using my Sony Ericsson K700i to link my laptop to internet. I think I have all the correct settings in phone and for dial-up access via Bluetooth and the phone shows "Connecting" and "connected" with the globe symbol appearing in status line at top of screen, BUT, when I use my browser (IE6) all my attempts to get a web page time out. Checking the modem status shows that my browser is sending out data, but I am not getting any data back??? I can get normal Vodafone LIVE wap access directly on the phone, but not browser access form laptop. Any ideas out there?

cheers
