Hey guyz im thinking of updating my K750i with either the W900 or P990 when it comes out....howeveri dunno which one 2 buy...actually i hv some doubts about both the phones...first of all looking at the pix i dont understand that how both P990 and W900 have the same screen size 240*320 coz in the pix the screen size of P990 clearly looks bigger...apart from that i wanted to ask that as far as imaging is concerned do both phones hv the same quality 2mp camera, and video recording? (30fps). Iv never bought a smartphone and would love 2 buy one but i understand that in the beginning P990 will be very expensive...but any idea how expensive? and will the W900 come in the range of $350 soon? coz this happens wid SE fones a lot...when i bought k750i it was for $325 and just 3 months later the same set is retailing at $225!
In all i know tht P990 is the superior phone, being a smartphone. But i wanna know is W900 the best entertainment mobile set in the market? And is it really worth buying over P990:? thnx |

if i were u id go for p990 , but if its entertainment youre after take w900i.
there both big phones compared to k750i , but very good phones.
w900i would be better for music and memory.
p990 has a tad better camera , but only a 64mb card comes in the box.

depends what you need/want the phone to do
the w900 imo was a little too chunky.
p990 is a smart phone...
if your looking for an mp3/camera phone i would look elsewhere though
nokia n series, and w810

looks like the w900 will only be available from voda, but if it does come out on other networks, better phones will already have come out.
the hype has kinda died on this phone,
kinda shame really. |

if you wanna use a smart phone, then go for the P990 or else go for the W900.

The black W900 is bundled on O2 from some sites. The mem and video capabilities seem to be its greatest strengths. P990? When, seems to be the big question...

Wow, those 2 are not exactly from the same line of phone. It's like comparing apple to orange.
If you are thinking about more business oriented applications, PDA features and have a the budget go for the P990.
If you are more into multimedia application (mp3, mpeg movies, walking or jogging while listening to music/radio, etc.), occasional picture taking and can afford to spend alittle bit more for multi purpose cell phone W900i is a perfect unit.
P990i is wide (114 x 57 x 26 mm) while W900i (109 x 49 x 24 mm) is thick but overall the P990i is bigger than the W900i.
and eventhough the resolution is the same at 240 x 320 pixel the P900i's screen is bigger (42 x 57 mm v.s. 33 x 45 mm)
