How these things impact on batt life (and how do you use them) |

Hi.
I wanted to hear some comments about disabling / enabling
- Standby clock
- GRPS all the time (setted to "GSM & GPRS", instead of "GSM Only")
- Brightness
Do they really improve batt life? How do you have them setted? I have them as:
- Off (only by now, testing; previously On)
- GSM (but now started using GPRS more often, so...)
- Always on 50%
Also, how is the GRPS functioning affected by having it setted to GSM Only? I guess that it'd take a couple of more seconds to re-negotiate an otherwise always-connected-since-start connection... is that so?
Thanks for your comments. |

set it to gsm instead of gprs cos gprs uses up more battery life.

What's the difference (in functionality) from having GPRs all the time or when needed? The couple of second more it takes to establish a new connection or what?
Also, what about the standby clock?
Thanks.

when always online is turned off, u save some batt power. i always turn off the clock, dont need it, next to its just like a screensaver, some % can be saved at the batt.

Yeah, set GPRS to . . when needed and not when available, as it will consume much of the battery . . . second or third to when the BLUETOOTH is turned ON. |
