Hey peeps,

Dunno if this has already been posted, looked for the thread but couldnt find anything on it. Anyway got 4 o2 sims few days ago and its in some new packaging..dunno what its all about.

Anyway the packaging is an envelope per sim, an expiry (!?) date now..being april 07 for these and dont think they are sealed inside a plastic thing either...oh and i cant seem to find the phone number for the sim either. Just wondering if anyones got any of these cause im still confused bout them having expiry dates..

Will post up a pic if you need me to cause im sure some of you have no idea what im talkin bout.

Cheers

PS. Heard o2 gonna be requiring sim registration like orange before they hand out numbers..that true as well? Hope it is lol, cause im sure that'll jack up the price for the old sims cause doubt alot of ppl will be arsed to register them... *stares at the gleaming pile of simcards* lol

is this like the vodafone free sims then - don't tell you the number, so if they decided to get rid of the number off of their network you have no proof if you have never put the simcard in a phone and turned it on what the number is...infact - you don't have a clue!

No, the number is printed in the pack, but you can't see it without first opening the new envelope-type packaging; unlike the older little plastic wallet-type packaging.

yuhuh - thats annoying...i suppose....but then again i only use the free sim cards as free wap for 30days + then throw 'em in the bin - think i actually had a good number...but i lost that simcard
