Nokia using MTV to promote their products |

As of late, I kinda realised that more and more Nokia phones are being instilled in MTV music videos, to name some like in The Click Five,"Catch Your Wave", Rihanna "SOS" and Pussycat Dolls "Beep". Well no offence to Nokia fans its kinda irritating seeing Nokia phones being advertised in that sense. As an SE fan, I cant recall any SE phones being used in any celebrity or in any kind of music video... So SE...for the next generation of phones coming up, i.e(K800) promote as much as you can!!! |

I think the same way. SE is very passive with promoting its products. Maybe if it puts some effort in promoting its products it will rise like a rocket. Anyways i feel ok they way they act now about spotting SE phones.

SE is not passive...for instance, the appearance of SE phones in the Davinci Code movie will give massive projection...its an highly expected and controversial movie, that will provably be one of the biggest sucesses of the year

I cant remember seeing any  phones in music video's though. They seem to have more of a perception for features and hence used in films like James Bond, Divinci code etc, Nokia appear to be included in more "fun" advertising/marketing eg Charlies Angels, MTV Base videos etc.

in india, se marketed the k500/700 quite aggressively using the star wars campaign.. Around the time when the 'Revenge of the sith' was out.. I also remember some spiderman themed ad campaigns, which possibly indicates that se uses blockbuster hollywood movies as a marketing platform more than the music video one
