So I wanted to test the EDGE deal on the w810i and tried the dslreports.com test and apart from the 5k test (which game me a "too fast" result) the tests never complete. The message I get says "Large page. Content incompletely shown."

Has anyone gotten this? Has anyone completed the mspeed test completely on the w810i? Is this a side effect of the 22MB RAM thing?

Have you tried to do the DSLReports test from your PC using your phone as a Modem? That's what I plan on doing with my phone once I get it, I've done it for GPRS and it's rather slow, but I'm hoping that EDGE will give me ISDN like speed at the least. I had used an SE EDGE card in the past and speeds were up to 190kbps

I suppose I could try that. What really irks me is that this 'improved' browser (NetFront) now has a page size limit that was not there on my K750i.

I'll try the tethering thing just to see my EDGE speed but I still think it stinks.
