take note, they were using the K800 on pre-production firmware when they did the comparison shots.

Somehow, for the first time, i felt like appreciating the Nokia.
The K800 takes great shots in low-light and high-contrast scenes, and acceptable pic in indoor situations too, but when it comes to landscapes, the SE KXXX phones fail miserably - the same is the case with my K750 too.
More often than not, I use my for landscape shots, and usually the distand hills and landscapes aren't that sharp.
Boy just look how sharp the hills are in this pic by the Nokia!!!!

Hopefully this "beta-fault" will be fixed in the following firmwares of the K800. And hey, what about a firmware upping on the K750 and it's W-cousins to fix the issue?

Seems like the K800 will continue to be a winner yet again!

Holy SHIT This shot is from my hometown - Sofia, Bulgaria!!! The mountain in the background is Vitosha and I haven't seen it with snow on it in over 15 years...
Looking at the shot taken with the K800, I'd have to say that it definetly looks more natural - the shot you posted here has a heavy reddish tint which I'm 99% sure is not present in real life (I grew up there and don't ever recall seeing red clouds even at sunset, which is when these shots were taken).

The K750 didn't do badly in that test, it actually took a few shots better than the 3MP Nokia |

The k800 will win against the n80 purley beacsue the n80 has no autofocus. Its battery life is poor aswell considering it has wi fi. |

nice! k800 wins all there camera wise, except...
"Even by only looking at the specs, you can already tell who is the winner here - Nokia N80. At its highest setting it can record at 352 x 288 pixels (CIF) resolution, while Sony Ericsson can only shoot video in the ancient QCIF format - 176 x 144 pixels. So, N80 captures 4 times more pixels and its video is definitely better. Take a look at the samples."
"Both phones can zoom while capturing video and both can record audio and the video recording time is limited by the free memory only. Sony Ericsson features digital video stabilization, but it's pretty redundant at such a small resolution. Anyway, both cameras will miserably fail when compared to the newly announced Nokia N93, which will feature recording DVD like quality video (640x480 at 30 fps)."
i found these pictures funny yet depressing at the same time:

Little question about the N80: Since it has wifi can it acces other computers with it? to share files? |
