Hey Everybody,

I can see that Sony Ericsson has "copied" the videoplayer from the walkman phones to the K800i, which is a nice thing.
Can anyone tell me though, if it is possible to "jump" in a video, but either a fast-forward function or a "jump to a certain minute/second" function?

I am thinking on transfering some movies/episodes to my K800i when I get it, but if you have a movie/episode which lasts 30-200 minutes, then a "jump" functionality would be nice.

Can anyone clear this up for me?

there are no "jump to" function, but you can fast forward and skip to next when in mediaplayer.

For longer conversions like a full movie, I suggest dividing the movie into for instance 15minuttes separate pieces, and putting them all in a folder called the moviename. That way you can easily create a playlist in mediaplayer adding the folder, where each piece within the folder works like chapters in the movie, plays sequentially, and you can easily skip to the chapter you want.

Thanks a lot for your answer. I will definately use that solution when I get my K800i. That being, splitting up the movie in 15 minute parts and putting all the files in a seperat folder for the single movie, and then making a playlist file for all the split up movie files.

I am curious though, how "fast" is the fast forward?
And can U watch a widescreen movie "rotated", so U watch it the same way - as when U take a picture.

Im not sure exactly how fast ff is, but approx 2-3x would be my guess.

Yes, in mediaplayer you can select landscape and view the movie rotated to landscapeview
