Hi all,

First off, apologies if this has been posted before, but I've tried searching and cant find anything like this so I think I'm ok

Anyway, I recently was given a P900 with a broken touch screen. It is only the touch screen component which is damaged, and not the LCD, the LCD still works perfectly.

I have done some searching around the internet and have found that apparently you can buy the touch screen component seperately for models like the P910i, which claim to be compatible with the P900. However, on the tutorials I've seen, the screen looks like one complete unit. What I am asking is has anyone taken apart a P900, and if so, can you seperate the LCD and the touch screen components? Also, has anyone tried replacing specifically the touch screen, and how difficult is it?

Anyway, thanks for reading, and I hope someone can answer

Cheers,

Rob
