Hi, i want to use Davinci tool to download firmware files from but dont need to use it to flash or anything else.
I was wondering if anybody has an account they can let me use to download the files for falshing, as i wont flash or complete or anything i wont be using credits up.
If anybody is willing to let me use their account just pm me.

it works for me on opera 8.54, maybe there is something dodgy with the ftpclient you use? you should try some other

When i tried it it didnt work at first but then i disabled my firewall and it worked.

Im using Smart FTP and get the error:
An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.

im using opera too and this is what I get when i use ftp://ftp.seuniverse.com/sonyericsson_files/
try opera or firefox

well I think theyre encrypted somehow so you can only use tham with davinci flashing tool. You can flash them onto your fone, but to finalize the phone and make everything hunky dory and working you need to buy one credit for davinci (around £6 - small price to pay for a lovely unbranded working fone firmware)
