Is there a way using ... to connect the k750 to the internet without using GPRS but using Bluethoot annd /or calbel ir ....
(inverse modem) -just to play arround.

Does anyone know what settings need to be used
An unbranded K750 that does not want to be updated ??

I did it using Bluetooth (BlueSoleil driver). If you're ready to download about 130 megabytes of Java, you'll do it too.

hi mate, read this link here - it works with my v600i, which means it should definately work with k750i. it's quite simple once you've done it the first time - i undid all my steps after the first time so as i remembered how to do it, doing it again

hope this helps - and i think it's the link that vicser was trying to give you.

you HAVE TO start from a computer, and just set the java settings under connectivity to the 'test' profile. This will stop the phone from connecting to a gprs internet connection. and also, if you see the gprs globe come up in the corner of the opera mini 2 window (over the 'O' in the corner) - then STOP you have done something wrong, and go back and try to fix it. We cannot give any more help. i have personally read through almost all of that thread - and i don't have much time to do things like that, so i am sure other people will have!
