Didnt think o2 phones came locked, so put my orange sim in and it fores up fine, accepts the sim... but then just searches for network and never finds and netwrok coverage? Strange problem?

its a contract handset and the orange sim is working fine in my ot6her phones!!!

just checked simlock on service info.... 5 padlocks that have the number 5 by each of them?

Ha! What's the chances of me & masseur posting exactly the same thing at exactly the same time again?

Doesn't look as though Davinci can unlock W810's yet either:

yeah, thats a hell of a coincidence!

I did check davinci after posting and noticed they don't show unlock capability yet, but in any case you need a different cable to do the unlock. I bought one from them for about 20 euros

Normally when a SE phone is locked it says "insert correct sim" when you turn the phone on.
Are you sure all the oadlocks are closed? Normally they only close one padlock.

thats what i though... im sure it should say insert correct sim...

strange thing is.... when orange sim is in i cant check the simlock?!
