Hi,

does anyone out there know if any networks buy out your existing contract? I have been told that if you ask for your PAC code some networks will pay the remainder of your contract off.
whe i asked the guy in the T-mobile shop he just looked at me blankly.

Is this true?

Never heard of that. In my experience if you as for a PAC code before your contract is up then you have to anything remaining upto your contract.

Ways around it.... but you have to be really clever in doing it... for eg Working on there terms and conditions that state if they cant offer you a good reception service etc they will cancell your contract.

So turn your phone off, and tell them you have moved to somewhere in the middle of knowhere and unable to get a good signal without it cutting out... I am sure you know what I mean...

That would work, how easy do you think that they would accept that for an excuse?
I might try that, now i need to find a quiet place with no reception.

Depends how assertive you are in the matter, just log a call first..and wait a week or two then speak to the HQ, not to the call centre in India. if you need email details oh hq dept in uk pm later or do a google search.
