bangalore airtel wap - How to configure Opera Mini on K700i |

I am a subscriber of Airtel-Wap service i.e., Net-on-Phone paying Rs. 99 per month. I am able to browse html pages via the inbuilt browser but I am unable to browse through the Opera Mini that I have installed. I get a connection Error. Can somebody tell me how to browse web through Opera Mini on K700i ?? |

I dont think Opera mini will work with Net on Phone ...as it uses the apn : airtelwap.com ...as i too get the same error |

I am using opera mini on k700 and its working fine.
If you are getting error message then try this--go to the connectivity and open 'settings for java; and select the internet frofile you are using for gprs. Hope your problem will be solved. |

hi there even i had the net on phone for rs 99 per month. in tat u cant run any apps tat access internet
if u wanna use opera mini or any other app then ask airtel for mobile office
im getting it in rs 99 only  cos of corporate deal but otherwise the rate is rs 499

Hi Guys....Mumbai Airtel User here. Opera mini initially didnt worked. But then i did a bit of research and found that it works.......Go to Menu>>>Settings>>>Connectivity>>Data comm.>>>Data Accounts>>>Mobile Office>>>DNS address and put 202.56.230.5
And then restart the phone. If this doesnt work(hopefully it will), just tell me and i will tell u exactly wot i did...Good Luck
Oh BTW........ i have a K750i handset.....try the step i told u...if that doesnt works...go here....http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/docs/connect/
