As happy as I am with my W900i (even with Voda branding), the pants battery life is getting beyond a joke. I have turned the screen brightness to the lowest setting and have also turned off 3G and is on GSM only...I am only getting about 24 hours standby. What a joke, am going to sell it and therefore a hunt begins for a replacement.
Shame really as the phone itself is quite nice.

You must have a faulty battery or something, I get 4-5 days out of mine with moderate usage (a few texts, little bit of browsing, camera, a few mintues of calling), 6-7 if I turn it off whilst I'm asleep. Down to 3-4 days if I turn 3G back on.

If you travle on the tube extensivley, like myself..(2hour+) a day then you might want to turn the phone off. This will help the battery life quite a bit as it really uses up more power to keep searching for a signal.

Hope this helps.
