Ok, I just bought a K750 and when I put a memory stick in it the screen starts flashing... When I open the camera lens cover it doesn't start the camera mode and the camera button lights up for like 1 or 2 seconds

I was thinking it was a firmware problem, I have the r1bc002 firmware

Take it straight back and get it replaced as it already has the latest firmware.

Take it back to the shop you bought it from, explain what the problem is and tell them you want it replaced.

And don't let them tell you it has to be sent back for repairs or whatever. You just bought it and you should have a working one. [addsig]

Well in that case take it to your local SE sevice center and let them take a look at it, they may charge you for this service if the years warranty is up though.

I don't know if there is a warranty and I will take it there but I don't know where is one...

How much would the fee be anyway?

All se phones have a 1 year warranty, they may ask for proof of purchase, however with my previous phones all they looked at was the date printed inside the phone.

As for your local se service center it depends where you live, somebody else here on esato may be able to help you with that as I only know my local one, or you could email se customer services and ask them.

And as for the price, I don't know, if it's out of warranty them it will depend on what is wrong with your phone, if they say it is still in warranty then it will be free.

Hope this helps.

It sounds like the camera connector inside the phone has come loose (my K750 had this problem a few times), easiest thing to do is take of the front, lift the screen and press the connector back onto the phone.
