W550i - Airtel GPRS Settings. [Request] |

Hi Guys
My friend uses a SE W550i in the Maharashtra Circle. He wanted to start his GPRS on Airtel but talking to the custmer care they said they had no seetings available for this model (!!!)
Well anyways, if anyone is using AIRTEL-GPRS on W550i please post the complete settings (Internet/Data/Profile etc.)

I read ur pm and i assume your friend has subscribed for mobile office.
Here is the settings . . .
Under data accounts create a new one and fill these up
Apn: Airtelgprs.com
Username : mobile number in international format
Password : 0000
Leave the rest of the settings .
Now into internet profiles and create a new profile and fill up as follows:
Connect using: choose the data account you created
Use proxy: yes
Proxy address : 202.56.231.117
Port:8080
Thats bout the configuration and it should work now. Let me know if u still have any problem. |

Just send MO to 646 thru sms and you receive settings. Install when the phone prompts. Restart phone & youre döne
