Hey Guys...

I have a W800i purchased in Jan '06. My problem is that I feel i'm getting very little standby time from my phone battery.

My MAXIMUM daily usage is about:
Walkman : 2 hours
Calls : 30-40 mins
SMS : 10-15
GPRS : None
Bluetooth : 5-10 mins. (just to sync to MyPhoneExplorer at the end of the day)
Java Games/Apps : None

If I charge my battery completely, overnight, using the standard charger that came with the phone. My charge goes down from 100% in the morning, to about 25% in about 36 hours (with the above mentioned usage).

Is this normal? or is this some battery/phone problem? Please Help...

imo thats normal, the batt standby depends on the quality of the recpetion aswell, dont forget. so if your operator doesnt offers u a constantly accepteable reception, it does influnce standby and talktime.

My network coverage, in atleast most places i am (home, college, etc) seems to be quite adequate. Rarely drops below 4 bars. I had the same SIM card in my N-Gage QD previously. On the QD, with the same usage (just replace the Walkman usage with Gaming... I used to love playing Colin McRae 2005 ), I only needed to recharge every 3-4 days (when the phone was a few months old)...

as mentioned before, thats an accepteable standby imo. a batt reaches its best satndby and talktime within 2 weeks and the second month after satrting to use it. might be it will be better after a while ( meaning your one ).
