Just today, I was checking out my friend's W550i. I noticed that when u select Artist > (Some Artist), you get options for all the albums as well as "All Songs". This All Songs option doesn't seem to show up in my W800i.

Is this a problem with all W800i's or is it firmware related?

My firmware is R1K001. I'm using Disc2Phone v1.3.0.106 to transfer songs to my W800i.

Your Firmware is very old and not one that was released for the W800. As far as I know the firmware (official) went as follows - R1L002 (initial release), R1N035, R1NA005, R1AA008 and R1BC002. I would suggest you use SEUS and update to a F/W that is meant for the W800.

I tried upgrading my W800i several times over SEUS. It keeps insisting that i have the latest firmware installed...

that all songs option is not present with w800. it's only available for w550 and probably the new models (w900, w810)

Damn... I wish Sony Ericsson would fix that in the next firmware update. Its just a matter of changing the software a bit.

If they don't, I'm gonna cry & tell my mommy.... bohoohoohoo...

Hi everyone, my first post

Is there really no way? Like using the FAR manager?
One simple solution would be, by making a new playlist and select all artist and add them, but that is a hassle also imho!

Thanks

hmm...even with latest firmware, "Select all" is not included with the media player of the w800i. Or is "R1BC002" not the latest firmware?

Thanks

Who needs that all songs option. I think you wouldn't put all artist songs in one folder.

Just changed my phone from a K750/W800 flash to a W810 and think is option is useful.

I'm pretty sure Abbafan means that she had a K750 flashed to a W800 and then got a new W810 after that.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
