The more thinner those ppl trying to achieve

the more it looks or sound stupid.

I just saw announcement for Samsung X828....6.9mm thick

It just look stupid as how can our hand really can have the nice feeling
tht we are holding the phone? yes more user is going for handsfree or BT handsfree but on and off we still need to hold the phone.

it just look plain stupid to get so crazy in making the slimmest phone around.

Maybe it is good for kids with small hand but for sure not adult with normal or large hand

i agree. i do not really see the point in slim phones; then again, some people do and manufacturers are sure to take advantage of that.

I personally would have to support the thinning down of phones.

For me, the smaller these phones become, the smaller the components inside will be, in turn making the idea of an 'all-in-one' device look even more possible.

People have been saying that the K800i is a bit overweight (I too would love to see it a bit smaller - say T610 size). The only way I can really see this happening would be for phone manufacturers to first compress the basic phone components.

Then again, I suppose I do still crave for the long-gone days of the 5Kg suitcase phone.

yup some of the point is nice tht this actually help to squeeze component thinner especially for keypad (thanks to V3), LCD screen and their back light unit (thank's to V3 moto)....

sooner...it will involve camera module to be slimmer and battery to be slimmer

but i guess this can be done without coming out those phone which is so un userfriendly

well thts my personal thought .... i always li ke a phone which give good grip.
To me, the slimmest phone tht I can accept will be my good old T39 which after so many years still working.

i was actually quite pleased the w950, m600 dont have cameras.
from a personal point of view, you dont buy a phone to take perfect pictures, even though i do insist that i have mp3 play back (v800 currently does that perfectly)
i suppose its just has these features to compare to other manfacturers.
would like to see wifi implemented, as i feel this is a bigger step forward then having a better camera! (-the n80/n91 have an edge over SE in actual phone department i feel, but SE camera is meant to rock)
