Funny Walkman behaviour on W800i |

Hey guys...
I have a SE W800i with a 1gb MS Pro Duo. I've loaded mp3 songs on it using the Disc2Phone software. i've also put some mp3 ringtones in the "ringtones" folder using MyPhoneExplorer.
The Funny thing is, when i start my Walkman Player, chose Tracks & then play in shuffle mode, the phone even plays my mp3 ringtones... even the ones from the phone memory.
Any way to avoid this little pain? |

Hey guys... found a work-around for my little walkman problem myself. Simply made my own playlist which excludes the ringtones folder, but includes all others. Now i play from that playlist, instead of from Tracks.
Thanks anyways...
Cheers

the tracks in the walkman player displays all the files found in the sounds folder so it would include all the songs including your ringtones..you're right to use the playlist option.. |

I find it best to create my own folder called MP3s under the sounds folder. Then, when you create your playlist, all you need do is mark MP3s floder. Yes, I know a MP3 folder is automatically created in the root of the MSDuo - I just don't use it - I prefer to manually copy to sounds\\mp3s. I hope this helps. |

only way to stop it playing your ringtones is to delete them. |

My W800 doesn't include files in RingTones folder when I open "Track" list.
