Hello thier, im a newbie ere so plz be gentle lol.. i have recently bought a SE W800i on Vodaphone, but i have a small and annoying problem already from 1 day of ownership.. i have noticed that when i call someone/receive a call from someone the VOLUME is VERY VERY low, even if i Max out the volume bar using the ''rocker'' button on the side of the phone it doesnt make any difference.. i used the search feature on this website and thought that SEUS would solve the problem as i saw some updates leading to ''Improved adjustment of Earpiece volume and Loudspeaker volume''.. So i have downloaded the SEUS program and did what the instructions on the program asked me..
so to start i made sure the battery is fully charged (obviously)then i

1. Turn off the phone
2. Remove Sim Card
3. Insert battery
4. Hold C button
5. Insert Cable

etc etc.. but i read in one of the threads on ere that the phone SHOULDNT turn on.. well mine does and it finds all drivers etc etc but asks for USB something.. SO i searched this forum again and found the w800i USB driver.. i downloaded and extracted the 2 files into a folder.. i asked me comp to look in the folder and find the files to install.. IT DID.. so i again.. restarted SEUS and turned off my phone.. Held C and plugged in the lead.. the phone didnt turn on and i got past ''stage 6??'' but a message came up saying ''Phone software upto date already''.. i clicked Continue anyway as i wanted to make sure. its almost complete but im not sure if it will cure the problem.. can anyone sugest owt?? thanks alot

Have you got a screen protector stuck still on the phone screen? If so it may be that that obstructing the earpiece that muffling the sound. If not then it may be a hard-ware problem with the earpiece so may have to send it off to a SE service center for an engineer to have a look at it.

Regards,
