Hi All,

I got mine while i was in Aussie, and am having problems with the battery. It will not seem to take a full charge and run's low very quickly. Have tried all the normal stuff to fix it, but nothing seems to work. The only thing i have not tried is a software update, but not sure that would help. Anyone with the same problem or any idea's

Cheers
Lee.

Are you referring to the w810 ? Ive heard a few people are nagging about the battery life of it compared to the w800. I had the w800 and it was great but the difference isnt that much form what im told. I should still last a few days.

Some people have said solve this by updating the firmware.

On the subject of firmware, does it wipe your memory or anything when you update it ?

LeeG we have the same problem..my phone is w800i, i was told by the SE that i should try upgrading my FW but they aren't 100% sure that will solve the problem. I want to be sure before i let them upgrade my firmware. my FW is R1N035... my battery won't last more than 2 days mostly 1 1/2 days. i can't even listen to mp3s because I don't want to charge everyday so what's the use of this phone if i can't even listen to mp3 =(.

It could well possibly be a motherboard problem; happened to me when i got my k700i...the battery only lasted 2 days without much use at all

i've just went to SE shop today and let them check my unit.. they didn't upgrade my FW but they opened it and check the inside and clean it. and they said it's ok now.. the charging reaches 100% i hope it's really ok.

of course, i didn't see when they opened my unit. they told me to come back after 4 hours..
