SE W800i - Reduced battery life after memory upgrade |
mritun Joined: Apr 16, 2006 Posts: 2 PM |
Hi
Recently I bought a 2GB Memory Stick Duo Pro to replace the bundled 512MB one, and loaded around 1.5 GB of songs.
I have noticed that since then the battery life has reduced significantly. Previously I could easily go 2+ days without recharging, now I have to recharge at least once a day!
Has anybody noticed reduction in battery life ? If yes, then how/why ? |

it's because bigger memory cards require longer read times, and thus, more processing times for your phone's processor... if i'm not mistaken, this has been discussed before, please use the search function to know more about this topic...

Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson Call Centre.
With regards to your enquiry, it is not the case that the battery life of the Sony Ericsson K750i and W800i decreases more rapidly when a higher capacity memory stick is used.
