Hi all,

First time posting etc... I have had a read through but haven't seen anyone else posting about this problem. I hope someone can help!

My K750i has just started doing something very weird - when I open the lens cover to take a picture, it goes to the camera screen for about a second (with a black picture) then flicks back. If I go into the menu and select 'camera', if thinks for a split-second then the screen just jumps as if loading the main menu again.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be or how I could fix it?

Thanks

try a firmware update , it should fix the problem
if not take it to and demand that they should look at it or demand a new one

Thanks!

Since I'm a newb, can you point me in the direction of a good guide to updating the firmware?

Someone PM'd me to ask, so just to say... I got this problem sorted by reconnecting the camera cable.

Yep it happens when the internal cable between the pcb and cam comes loose, usually happens if you change the fascia..

it happened once to me. i was flashing my k750 with davinci and i turned it on w/o finalize it with far. then i finalized it with far and everything seemed to be working ok. but the my phone started doing the same thing that happened to you. i reflashed the phone again and the problem's gone!
