Just got the 810i last night -- looks and feels great. Though I really did want the 910... that swivel was damn sexy...

Anyway, was hoping someone could help with Outlook synching. Is there an application to download? Or can I just drop the vCards somewhere via Bluetooth? The SE software isn't even recognizing my phone. Running XP... please help.

BTW my vendor told me the best way to upload music is via Bluetooth; songs via the USB can corrupt the memory for some reason and the phone has to be completely reset if this happens.

Is your file manager uploaded from the CD? What software have you installed?

Songs via BT is too SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW!
Up to 17 minutes = 10 songs for my BT 1.1 Dongle to transfer to my old K700.

I copy straight to Memory Stick PRO Duo via MSD adapter and card reader built into my laptop. 12 albums transfer in 10 minutes for my V800. Much better.

i am using the software it came with. i haven't had time to give it another shot before checking here (woes of working at night). other problems are cropping up -- namely dropped calls. lots of them, here in LA with Cingular. also some minor problems with navigation shortcuts. but found posts reporting other problems also. apparently there's a firmware issue causing different things.

and i agree, the BT transfers are ridiculously slow. but i don't want to transfer songs via USB after what my vendor told me. **sigh** he offered me a trade-in but i am hopeful these issues will resolve themselves soon enough for me to hang on to my new toy. prob'ly not.
