Can anybody tell me how to send ringtones to T68?
I have the EMS S/W, converts *.txt to *.em1 or em2 easily, but there isn't any possibility to load it into the phone.

Thanx!

You don't need Emelody converter! Just use Emelody lab and save the file as : *.emy . Then all you have to do is to connect you phone to your pc by means of IR, Bluetooth or cable and right click on the *.emy file and then sent to T68. That's all! It is more easy than you expect.

EmelodyLab *does not* convert Nokia RTTTL to iMelody, which is what EMS Converter does. What you need to do is to copy the melody part from the .em1 file to EmelodyLab. However, although EmelodyLab claims to support the iMelody standard of EMS, it cannot play many sounds, like the example below (Torn, Natalie Imbruglia):

d3d3.c4*3#a2*4r3*3#a3.*4f3f3.d4c2r2c3c3c3c3d3c4c2*3a3

The program "Ericsson Phone Settings" which came with the Mobile Monitor (Package 5) contains a program to edit ringtones, and comes with a keyboard too.

Just tried something that works. Took a midi file, used Mobile Music (http://www.digibookcase.com/) to convert it to EMelody format, copied the result of conversion to notepad, saved it as *.emy, used Send File to send to phone, phone recognizes as melody. Voila.

you could also try using this web-based converter:

http://www.lesuonerie.com/eng/Suonerie/convertitore_universale.htm

openin notepad, save as .emy file, then send to phone.
