I have a LG U880 and as i cant get this phone unloced from three i tohught id transfer my O2 number to my three sim. When i rang O2 they went through the usual thing where they try to keep me with them.
The O2 guy then said that if i ring three and ask them to unlock my phone to all networks and they charge me then if i tell O2 how much i was charged they would give me that amount in credit.

Do you know if this is correct or if the guy was just telling lies to keep me on O2?

which would be your word against his

maybe ask for it in writing? An email from the guy you speak to would be sufficient.
