Here we have a faulty 6230 I have come accross in a job lot. It's unlocked to all networks and has no software branding. Cosmetically it could use a new housing, which are very easy and cheap to replace.

The two faults are:

1) The keypad is only partially lit, the bottom doesn't light up (see picture below).

2) The componets on the top half of the back have been removed ...speaker/arial etc. this has caused loss of reception i believe. (see picture below - phone on the right).

As the arial has been removed it shows no reception but a "?" on the display, a blocked/barred phone will not show this so i genuinly don't believe the phone to be blocked.

Other than this the phone functions perfectly as a camera, diary etc, there are no software faults.

Any questions please ask, and note this shall be sent Insured mail included in the price.

Open to offers/trades

Does it get a signal at all, despite the lack of an aerial? It should still pick something up if a network has a strong signal near you.

The '?' on the screen could be because a picture that was the wallpaper was deleted possibly?

Just popped a Virgin sim card and this came up, haven't really checked it out. No signal has shown up, not really sure what to make of this one. The screen and camera should make it useful to someone lol.

Price drop to £18

I want summin off ebay lol.

Try doing a manual network search and see if anything comes up?

Also try an Orange or O2 sim, if it gets a signal and is blocked, it will come up with 'sim card registration failed'.

Put a T-mobile & O2 sim and and still shows no reception, and a manual search doesn't work. Not sure what this means :S
