Hi,
I want to modify a headset to work as at stereo handsfree with K750 at the same time as I can use the same headset with Skype, MSN and itunes on my laptop. Is there anyone out there who have done it?
My plan is to first make an adapter from the socket of K750 to two female 3.5 jacks (like the one you have in your laptop) and then modify a SE headset to have two male 3.5 mini jacks (one for stereo and one for mic)
you can see what I mean in this picture

Here's the pinout for the k750i (from http://pinouts.ru/data/se_k750i_pinout.shtml )
1 Vbus
2 SP_REF
3 Mic+/AUXIN_L
4 Mic-/AUXIN_R
5 DFMS/SP_L
6 DTMS/SP_R
7 VIDEO/STB
8 VPPFLASH
9 GND
10 CTMS/D+
11 CFMS/D-
12 DCIO
So,
your left/right ground on the stereo output need to be connected to pin 2.
Left speaker to pin 5
Right to pin 6
Mic ground to pin 4
Mic in to pin 3
all you need is an old handsfree kit to salvage the port connector and a few female stereo jacks.
as for the headset part - i do not know the correct colours but if you note which is which when disconnecting them from the phone connection - you should be able to wire it up using the information above.

Thanks for the input there. Du you think the "answer-button" on the SE headset I will use can cause any problems? |
