Got rid of the orange logo's/pictures/start up/orange menu etc!

Can you flash a K750i with W810i software? Is there much difference between the W800i and W810i software wise? |

I guess that the hardware differences would make it very unlikely that the W810 software would work on the K750/W800. |

Excellent... it's been a while since I've done this with a SE mobile... what are the pitfalls to watch out for and can you debrand with the included USB cable or is a service cable required? Apologies for the no doubt lame questions... |

you can debrand using the dcu-60 cable that came with the phone. Unlocking you need a differnt cable tho!
Orange has changed a fair few bits so its nice to be back to normal. Davinci worked quickly to get the files updated to big cheers to them! |

After you debranded the phone can u use the flash themes ? Have you tried ? Also you said you used the cable that came with the phone, cdu-60 or something i think u called it, would this be the USB cable ?
Anyway would be wicked to know if the new flash type themes work once its been debranded or does the phone need to be unlocked as well ?
Also is it possible to rebrand the phone incase it needed to go back to Orange ?

Yes to all the above!
New themes look great! You can flash the phone with the included USB cable, but if you want to unlock you need to buy a service cable. Phone doesn't need to be unlocked to use the themes.
There is also a backup of most network specific firmware should you wish to revert. |
