Definately louder and clearer. Was thinking of selling my W900i for W810i due to the battery issues. Ever since the firmware upgrade, i have noticed a big difference with battery life. Could not be happier... oh and i must say, the W900i does deserve praise for it's build quality. It just doesn't rattle... sqeak or loose. Without doubt the best SE i have owned thus far. If you get use to it's size (which didn't take me long) you will be highly impressed with this gem.
