Hi folks, Can someone pls pls post the complete settings for GPRS on Airtel(MUMBAI) for a Sony Ericsson K750i. Airtel Live works fine. I want that Rs.12 a day stuff. And also, i have heard that they dont charge for extra for GPRS wile Roaming. Is this true???
And i am sorry if this stuff is already posted somewhere cos i tried to search but couldnt find any solid things.

Nope.. They dont. Other than the normal call charges on roaming.. Gprs is not charged if you are already subscribing to it

Hi,
I have a Pune airtel prepaid sim and have activated GPRS on the same. I frequent to Mumbai on weekends and use GPRS thru my PC. There are no extra charges for GPRS and daily charge is Rs 5. No extra charge for data downloads. The speeds are decent. download speeds some times touch 6 kBPS max. The connection shows 115.2 Kbps but thats not true and in fact the actual speed is abt 40 Kbps or less. Hope this info helps |
