Hi
Im new to firmware upgrading!! I have a unlocked SE K608i on 3 UK and would like to upgrade firmware to get rid off those horid 3 logos!
I have a T28 cable and have downloaded SEtool and the firmware files (R2J005) off pappfer's website(great website btw). The only problem is now I dont know how to use the program to upgrade the firmware(couldnt translate hungarian!)!! Could someone show me how?

Also has anyone got T-Mobile UK firmware files or better version firmware files to what I have now(R2J005)?

Great Forum, Keep it up guys!!

Thanks, any help appreciated!:)

Stop yourself right there, the k608 firmware on pappfer's site is cid36 and is not compatible with your cid37 or cid49 k608.

So even if you managed to flash your phone with that firmware, you would not be able to complete it and turn the phone on.

I've got one k608 with that problem from using the files on pappfer's site, and I'm buying a usbsmart to sort it out.
