Hi,

There is no Sony Service Centre near me but i am going to london tomorrow for a week so I was wondering where i could take my D750i to be flashed/updated?

So in other words, where is the Sony Service Centre in london?

Thanks

There's the Sony shop in Tottenham Court Road: http://dealerlocator.sony.co.uk/uk/DLDetail.asp

I don't know if they have updating services, but it's a cool shop to drool in.

The CarphoneWarehouse sorted out my phone last time. I like the Baker Street branch as they tend to be quickest:

Baker St 146 Marylebone Rd, London, NW1 5PG
08701 682002

Oxford St 125 Oxford St, London, W1D 4DY
08701 682164

Oxford St 272-274 Oxford Street, London, W1C 1DU

Hi,

here is a list of authorised Sony Ericsson service centres in London ("flash points")

I got this from this thread:

Fleet Communications
77 Avery Hill Rd,
Eltham
London SE9 2BJ
Tel: 0208 2942000

Phone Centre
855 Forest Road,
Walthamstow
London E17 4AT
Tel: 0208 9239991

R's Electrics
815-817 High Rd,
Tottenham
London N17 8ER
Tel: 0208 8081498

- alternatively, as the above poster mentioned, any carphone warehouse store should be able to flash your phone for you.

Hope this helps

Do they flash it whilst you wait in the shop or like come and get it the same day ?

Thanks

CPW did mine in about 3 hours, as I asked them nicely. i.e. I put it in and they said come back at such and such a time. [addsig]

@ xdavex. I use the one in Tottenham to update my T610/W800i when they developed a slight fault on the S/W. They are very good as the turn around time to get your phones re-flashed/updated is an hour.
