OK Try saving all the contacts on the K700 to sim, insert the sim to the 8800 and then copy and save all to the phone??

@p900 - Select the 250 then transfer it to your SIM . . . then transfer SIM to Phonebook of your 8800. Then manually install the remaining 50 to your 8800's Phonebook. Good Luck ! [addsig]

@JN thanks will try that but it seems a bit long.

Is there not a way for me to sync my K700 with outlook and then sync my 8800 with outlook? that way i also have a copy of all my contacts in outlook.

install the SE PC Suite with the CD that came with your phone then do a sync. (i presume you can connect to your PC via cable, BT or IR, although IR may be painfully slow)

once you've done that, check your contacts in outlook to see that they are all there. if they are, now install the Nokia PC Suite and do a sync with your phone.

both PC Suites SHOULD have sufficient help files to assist and guide you through the process. if i'm not mistaken, you should be able to sync with either outlook or outlook express.

the problem with the phonebook transfer is that bloody nokias don't accept transfers of whole address books except from other nokias, if at all.

if all else fails, then just send each contact from your K700 to your nokia via BT or IR one by one. it's a bloody pain but it gets the job done. sorry but that's the price you pay for going over to the dark side...
