my girfriend has the pink razr. all the buttons stopped working, right in the middle of a call, it just stopped. no water damage, nothing. Cingular replaced it for free, the replacement worked for abotu 5 days, now whenever she pushes a button on this one, it alwyas goes to her recent calls list! (when the buttons work at all), cingular replaced that one for free, NOW THE BRAND NEW ONE IS MESSED UP AGAIN!!!! the damn keypad is messed up again and isnt respinding. cingular wont give them a new type of phone, they are making them stay with the razr becuase it was on contract. her moms messed up also, and she got a free razr replacement. (idk what was wrong with that one though)

just a little rant on how moto and the razr are making me mad...

why not contact moto and see what they'll do if the network isn't going to do anything?

it's probably because of all the crap and modding that cingular does with their phones... and that's probably what moto's gonna say in order to escape from the responsibility, which is understandable.

I think this is a fairly common problem with Razrs, I've got one where all the buttons except the power button don't work, and seen a few like that on Ebay, I suspect it's a software fault. I tried the PCB from the V3 in another phone and the keys still wouldn't work!

I have never used a RAZR, but I have read quite a number of complaints from people around me. Came to me as a shock at first, what with the phone's high profile.
PS: I used to be known as AYA

The beauty of it is at least they don't ask too many questions and they just replaced your Razr with a new one.
