Hi
I know the phone is new etc but i got one yesterday and would like to send some pictures to the phone...so does anyone know any sites with backgrounds for the 7219???

you bought a 7210 even though Nokia (as it has done with their earlier models) remove the irDA and bluetooth features of the phone? Oh well, In my humble opinion its waste of money!

but does it support irda to computer to allow you to receive pictures or background picture???

I have try on 6610, it does not, even Nokia helpdesk say that yup!
It only allow user to use IRDA to connect to computer to surf web using GPRS, meaning act as modem! not for pictures.
they say if I want background picture have to go through WAP, or nokia CLUB.
please advise, really apperciate |

here we go again.
its amazing how many guys here like to comment on the features or lack of features of a phone even though they obviously have not tried it.
as orange said the 7210 does indeed support irda. and it can receive pictures and ringtones (polyphonic included) through infrared to help one customize the phone.
i've been able to use a 7210 the last few days so i at least i've seen what it can do firsthand.
it does lack bluetooth though. don't know what nokia was thinking about when it did not include that relatively inexpensive feature.

guess it supports Gif or Jpg so you just have to make the picture 128x128 and send it to your phone... |

Here in my country the 7210 is more expensve than the t68! Weird! How much much memry does it have?500k?

Oh no, there is no blue tooth on the 7210, I dont know how i will manage. its such a useful feature that i use all the time on my T68(cr)I
