Hi All,

Is it possible to update my current w800i firmware (R1AA008) to the new version R1BC002 from SE update even if my phone is k750i(I just flashed my K750i to W800i).

Thanks in advance....

I would like to know the answer as well...bought an already flashed k750i to w800i, I set up my computer using SEUS so i could update...i finally reach the last part where holding "c" button then releasing it, only to find SEUS telling me that there are no updates available since i have the most current update. I know this is bull cuz i'm currently using the R1AA08, but im surprised that people specifically in the Pacific Rim are able to update their w800i to the newest firmware R1BCO02.

Somebody also told me that if you flash your phone without using SEUS, the phone will no longer be accepted to update with sony ericsson.

Can anyone confirm this?

After you have flashed your k750 to a w800, you can no longer use SEUS. If you want to update, you have to get it flashed to the higher firmware. If you want to use the SEUS, you have to flash your phone back to a k750.
Cheers.

so darkchild, since we're not able to update through SEUS, where else can we update to R1BCO02 firmware? I've browsed through the other forums and heard a discussion about using DaVinci as an alternative. What's this all about and is it free to use? --> sorry im a noob here
