so what is the best way for cleaning a k700 joystick? i'm really desperate and i'm this close to go and get it fixed but i want to try just one more time.
at first i thought that if your joystick was irresponsible this was very bad. believe me now i WANT it to be irresponsible because now whatever i do with it it understands "OK". no up, no down, no left or right only "OK". drives me crazy...so can u suggest something?

this prolem has been discussed in many threads.if u search ,u will come across many options for cleaning it.
my K700 also had the same problems, but one of the methods worked fine for me.
Switch off/Lock keypad and rotate the joystick in anticlockwise/clockwse direction bit firmly 20 times.this moves all the dust to one side.now check the response of the joystick.it will work as good as new.mine did.

Pepi...If there is a SE service center nearby then go and get your joystick replaced, its not very expensive...!

The other way is that, Get a airbrush ( Or go to a Car Wash where they have air hose-Be careful not to point it on the display else it will crack with the gush of air and Spray a jet of air inside the soldering opening of the Joystick- Where the Base is attached to the circuit board...!

What Doctor, Just suggested is fine but a very Temp way, It will come back to the state after few days..!
