I am connecting a K750i via AV input using MMC-60 to my car's headunit but there is a huge volume difference. for example, the volume level where i normally set on the handsfree sounds dim when hooked thru the mmc-60. I have to turn the volume knob on my headunit to really high in order to match the sound level on my handsfree.

does anyone else experience the same problem? anyone know how to fix it??

I am looking to buy a MMR-60 if i cannot resolve this because many times, i forget to turn the volume down when switching from AV to CD and it nearly blew my speakers since i had to turn the volume up to a riduculous level for AV/MMC-60.

believe AV is same as the AUX input.

I don't have that problem, the MMC-60 works flawlessly (and loudly!)

It sounds like your contacts aren't getting a good connection (mmc-60 to phone connection). Clean the contacrts on the phone with a cotton bud and isopropyl alcohol or electronic contact cleaner (or just give a good rub with a dry cotton bud.)

That should fix it, if not it's a faulty cable or phone. I can assure you the MMC-60 cable provides a clear strong signal through to audio equipment.

thanks for your tip. think i just needed some reassurance. After reading so many posts on the forum about how unreliable how mmr-60 is, be sticking with the mmc instead.

Have you tried turning up the volume on the phone?
