Why is there never any milo when you need it on a cold autumn night, but there always milo on the hottest day of summer. Does anybody have any theories as to why things screw me and others around in this way

You are so bloody right davo!
Whats more i'm annoyed by the lack of milo at my workplace, they have coffee, they have tea, would it hurt to have milo! >:/
Granted milo and cold milk during summer is good though
Milo is a drinking chocolate, bloody nice.
Davo: I keep a stash of cadbury drinking chocolate and a jar of horlicks in the back of the cupboard for late night drinking as well, doesn't hurt to be prepared |

@meths milo is the greatest chocolate drink of all time. And i had none last night when i could not sleep and needed it the most. Aint that life when the one thing you want there is nothing there and when you dont need it its everywhere. @ gigs it has to be really really cold milk to satisfy me. Have you tried the milo cereal? Really tasty with icy cold milk |

i agree! i remember when i first encountered milo - a little skeptical at first, snotty-nosed that at first glance it did not at all compare to chocolate milkshakes and hot chocolate... but when that oh-so-chocolatey heaven ran down my throat, i've been hooked ever since. i go to ethnic groceries just to get that stuff. i love mine ice cold with a splash of milk, though, and a dash of cinnamon.
my advice to the thread starter: keep your basement stocked with milo.
to others: milo is a chocolate malt drink. better than nesquik and ovaltine, which can both be a bit too sugary for my taste. milo has the robust yet likable quality akin to a nice cup of coffee.

i made mum buy some today so i should have some for tonight
@burgaz
postage and that might be a hassle but if your willing to pay for it then ill gladly organise something. or do what scapevelocity said and go to a specialty grocery store and pick some up for an inflated price
and another thing:
why is there always no transit guards checking tickets on the train when you actually BUY a ticket, and the off chance that you forget to buy one one morning there is always a guard ready to spring you with a 50 dollar fine

perfect recipe for a hot milo (none of this cheap sugar and hot water crap people try to stinge me off at the TAFE cafe)
ingredients:
microwave
milk
milo
directions:
microwave a glass of milk until its hot
get rid of the yucky milk skin on top
add as much milo as you desire ( i use about 5 spoonfulls)
stir and enjoy
i dont understand the people that think that hot water, two scoops of milo, one scoop of sugar and a little bit of milk constitutes as a hot milo...they are crazy talking pirates if you ask me...
milo should be drunk with milk alone. either piping hot, or icy cold
