That darn joystick - T68i, K700 and K750 joysticks didn't give me much joy. Had to give up on those models and settle for a d-pad equipped SE. Never had the same disappointing experience with joystick equipped nokias. I'm really going to have to wait for consumer reviews of the K800 (and its joystick) before I buy one.

Better PC software features - the ability to restore the phone memory (and even memory card data) on backups saved on the PC really impressed me when it was first introduced on mid-range nokia phones. I don't know if the P series have this feature but I would surely appreciate it if the features were made available to lower-end SE phones. All that is required for it to work is PC connectivity (IR, USB, Bluetooth) which is a feature available in almost every SE phone.

Default Phone Apps on the Installation CD - It sure is hard to hunt down those default apps once they get wiped out by performing a master reset. I hope SE gives us a break and hands over the software preinstalled in our phones. Sure SE gives us the option to download content via WAP but the service in our country is prohibitively expensive and unreliable.

You can download all the default apps via the web by starting here:

Find the app you want, download the .jad file. Open this in a text editor to find the URL of the .jar file. Download to your Mac/PC and send to the phone.
