I finding my phone a little bit slow and sluggish. I found that it takes a few seconds to view my pictures from the camera mode/return to the main screen and also and for the screen saver to appear. Sometimes i do find other parts like accessing the menus appear sluggish too.

I do currently have themes, ringtones/music (wav, mp3, midi), videos, games and pictures stored on my card/phone memory and this is how much memory i have at the moment.
Free memory: 28240 KB
Memory stick: 433824 KB
S/W version: R1AA008.

It's not big problem but i'm just wondering could it could be anything of the amount of stuff i have currently stored on the phone that could be slowing it down as there seems to be enough memory!

Regards,

@ Frubin

I think I remember you saying that you have the 2GB Duo Pro. Once you go over 1GB of stored items it seem to slow the phone down while browsing.

@ tigerstyles: right joystick, * on keypad, left joystick, left joystick, * on keypad, left on joystick then * on keypad
Go to Service info > Sofware Info

@ dgilmartin: Erm, nope must got me confused with someone else as i don't have the 2 GB MS Duo. I just have the normal 512 MS Duo that came with the phone.

my fw is r1aa008 too but the speed of the phone didnt change when i loaded its 521mb card. Its not ´press and see´ instantly but if u check other phones u´ll see that w800 is rather fast. Handling 2mpx pictures is not easy and it does that quite well for a phone and the 3d games run also rather well if not even better when compared with other non-symbian phones. Actually, my cousin s got a ngage (which is symbian) but my w800 handles files faster than his phone.
hope this helps
