Fatal crash after recording movies |

I was recording movies with my W550i and when I tried to view the movie I had created the phone hung and then rebooted. I tried to open the folder a second time and again the phone hung and reboot, but this time it came up with the installation wizard and it wiped all my settings and deleted my contacts. Now when I connect to PC an "error new found hardward" message comes up and I can not connect to the PC.
It connects in file mode alright, but phone mode doesn't work.
I think that the problem might have been caused when you record a movie and don't have enough memory.
Another funny thing I noticed after the fatal crash is that the "phone status" message when you press the volumn control says that the phone is a K700 (it used to say w550i)
SE support tell me that if I try to upgrade the firmware it might fix the problem, but I think I am already on latest version.
Anyone else have similar problems? |

Is that video file still on the phone? Try deleting that, as it may be corrupt.
Also try turning the phone off, removing the battery for a couple of minutes then re-inserting it and powering the phone on, see if that makes any difference.

Of coarse I tried that. I also tried doing a master reset and reinstalling PC suite |
