i've got a a o2 sim card and need to unblock my sony ericsson f500i...i've got my puk code from o2 and not sure what i need to do...can anyone help???

is the sim card's pin code blocked, or your phone locked to o2?
If the former, enter the puk after switching on the phone. |

In main menu do the following
left , * , * left to get the unlock menu
be warned u have only 5 tried after thats its locked forever.

its locked to vodafone at the min trying to get it onto o2...when i type that in the main menu then what do i type???
i've got to type in a nck code

you need to call vodafone up and ask them to unlock your phone from their network. This may cost you, or you could use SEMCtool and a data cable to unlock your phone - not sure about the method, just know that it works. The code that vodafone will give you is called the NCK code - when you insert the O2 simcard, press left, *, *, left. then go into network and enter the NCK code. Please report back with your finding from phoning vodafone - i hope this helps. |
