I know it has been mentioned before that when you fit the cam to T68 and press * # *# you get the camera's software version.
My T68i version is R2B025
At the bottom of communicam says R2A
When I plug cam into phone (*#*#) says R1B
Is there a way to uggrade the camera's software version, so getting better pictures or a better compression?

The version number on the bottom of the cam is the hardware version.
Lastest firmware for MCA-20 is R2A. I'm not sure what the differences are, but I doubt you will get better pictures and better compression.. to get it updated you need to bring it to a servicepoint.

I recently upgraded my T68i to R5D007. At the service point told me that they don't know anything about camera's software upgrade. Any help? does anyone else did the upgrade? |

not many servicepoints know they can update the firmware in the camera... but to update it they need a special cable. |
