I have been a very happy K750i user for the last 9 months. No problems until now. The problem is so weird that I think it may be a virus. I have not updated my firmware since I brought it last July.
10 minutes ago I was sitting down watching TV, then I heard funny noises that turned out to be my K750i. My untouched phone had dialed my phone-banking number and was connected to the automated phone-banking service. Then when I picked it up and tried to cancel the call, the buttons where doing wrong actions instead of the designated actions. I turned the phone off, then on and when I tried to input the 4 digit password, the last digit inputed 2 digits when I pressed the button.
After eventually I got into my phone I found that typing 2 in a text message produced "A" and "." on the screen. Other buttons like 6 went to send message and 0 linked me strait to "sent messages" Very weird. So I did a master reset and when I turned it back on, all the problems where still there. However, now it said inactive SIM. I took the SIM out and put the SIM into my old Sony Ericsson T610. I had no problems with the SIM in my T610.
Wow, now I have to go to my service provider to get it fixed. Lucky I took out 2 years insurance.
