I've taken a V3 to bits before, and have a dissasembly guide on pdf for the V3 if that's any use.

I may not be about though for a while, about to be taken round Ikea!

You need a T3 for (I think) the little one by on the flip, a T4 for the screws on the screen, a T5 for 4 screws inside the phone near the bottom, and a T6 to take the mainboard off the rest of the phone, if it's the same as a V3.

Try Ebay for these, unfortunately the T3 is a little hard to come by, I had to get one from a seller in Hong Kong!

guys, any news with the v3i housing situation? I just dropped for the first time my v3i and the damn thing scratched itself on one of the corners and I ordered two different housings - a blue and a black one. I have no idea how to get them fitted though. I would be grateful if you could pass that pdf file you mentioned and any other information. It sounds like I also need to get these screwdrivers as well...or not?

the damn thing looks so beautiful and is so compact that I can't really see how one can take the housing out...there is no screws to see really...I'd hate to damage the phone...

Here's a powerpoint presentation on how to disassemble the v3i for you:

http://rapidshare.de/files/25053431/fatregv3idisassembly.ppt.html

If you can't access rapidshare, let me know and I can email or similar.

P.S. thanks again for the Toshiba guide you posted in the Cycovision PC help thread [addsig]
