Settings are as follows hope this is usefull for people. i see alot of questions about this.
Messages > Email > Settings > Account Settings > New Account
-Connect Using -- O2 WAP GPRS, O2 Pay and Go
-Incoming server -- mail.o2.co.uk
-Incoming Port -- 110 - UK users.
-Encryption -- no encryption
-Mailbox -- 'your o2 username with @o2.co.uk on the end of the username
-Password -- 'your password for your o2 username
-Outgoing server -- smtp.o2.co.uk
-Outgoing Port -- 25
-Email Adress -- same as mailbox
Leave the rest of the settings, unless you want to edit the headers and footers |
